Good quality sex, relationships and health education can provide teens with the information they need and help them to develop healthy relationships. Our SRE workshops, drop down days and projects cover a range of SRE topics such as; puberty, periods, body image, contraception, peer pressure, healthy relationships.
Tough Cookies Education works with schools to deliver comprehensive sex, relationships and health education in the classroom. The Department of Education, Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education and Health Education Guidance is used to frame our programmes and workshops. Our outcomes are clear and are directly linked to the topics and themes set out in the statutory guidance.
Tough Cookies Education provide SRE programmes for young people in a range of non-formal settings, such as youth clubs, outreach, community centres, supported housing or any other place where youth workers engage with teens to promote our ethos of living healthy and happy lives. We can provide both formal and informal programmes suitable for non-formal settings.
Parents and carers are vital partners in the education of their children, and Tough Cookies Education is committed to working together to provide sensitive, age-appropriate SRE. We provide workshops and programmes to help parents and carers have those conversations that can seem awkward or embarrassing.
