Sexual Health

This age-appropriate workshop which covers the topic of sexual health is engaging, fast moving and completely and utterly honest!

We kick off this workshop with our warm-up quiz, introducing a number of sexual health topics which leads us into lots of great discussions. This workshop is great as a summary of learning to revisit topics already learnt or can be used to introduce SRE giving young people a quick insight into many of the SRE topics. We include a condom demonstration and encourage students to take part too. Information about the most common STI’s and emergency contraception in shared and we end with the chance for students to ask anything! (within reason)…

Effective sex education enables young people to develop their confidence and self-esteem and understand the reasons for delaying sexual activity. Knowledge about safer sex and sexual health is an important aspect of SRE that supports young people to make safe, informed and healthy choices.

Figures released by Public Health England today show that young people aged under 25 continue to be the group most affected by sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Survey reveals ‘less teens are having sex, they also don’t drink and say exam and career success are the most important things!’
