Grant funded community projects

In May 2019 we opened a social enterprise arm. Since the launch we have successfully delivered 130 relationships, health and sex education workshops. We have worked with 1350 children, young people and parents and received £16180 of funding to support our local communities. For more information read our annual report.

Youth work week 2020 For this year’s Youth Work Week, Tough Cookies Education are inviting Greater Manchester’s youth work teams into our zoom classroom to take part in our FREE workshops focused on helping you deliver the best relationships, sex and health education.

Become a cancer champion! (funded by Answer Cancer)
Raising awareness of NHS cancer screening and talking about ovarian, breast and bowel cancer awareness in the greater Manchester community. Become an answer cancer champion with Tough Cookies Education.

Self-care Kits for Teens (Supported by Action Together and Forever Manchester)
A little box of happiness delivered to young people in a time of need. Our COVID-19 response project, building young peoples resilience.

Healthy Relationships (Oldham Standing Together Fund)
Delivering healthy relationship workshops across Oldham with primary and secondary aged children and young people and their parents and carers. Working with young people and families to explore: healthy relationships, sexual violence, exploitation and other VAWG issues.

Consent and Pizza (Salford for Good)
Let’s have an open and honest conversation about consent, we are making sure young people are equipped with the right skills and knowledge to understand their rights and responsibilities when it comes to relationships, body boundaries and consent.
