Tough Cookies Education works with schools to deliver comprehensive sex, relationships and health education in the classroom. The Relationships Education and Health Education Guidance from the Department of Education is used to formulate our workshops. Our workshop outcomes are clear and directly linked to the topics and themes set out in the guidance.
We provide 2 programmes for primary schools
The puberty talk (Health Education)
The puberty talk is part of statutory Health Education. Lessons about puberty should be delivered before onset in order to prepare children in advance for the changes they may experience. Our programme is suitable for children aged 9 – 11 years old.
Online Relationships (Relationships Education)
This programme explores popular social media apps, computer games and online gaming and supports children to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage positive relationships and to keep safe online. This programme also links to Health Education theme Online Safety.
