Children and young people in Oldham have the opportunity to take part in our healthy relationship workshops. They will learn about healthy and respectful relationships and know what the signs of a healthy and unhealthy relationship are.
Oldham Community Safety and Cohesion Partnership (CSCP) have funded Tough Cookies Education to deliver a pilot youth and family education project which promotes healthy relationships and supports young people and families affected by domestic violence and abuse and prevent them from becoming involved in violence themselves.
Parents can access free training which supports them to be able to have open and honest conversations with their children about relationships. They will gain a better understanding of healthy and unhealthy relationships and the impact unhealthy relationships can have on teens.
The project also works with young people, who will take part in a social change campaign to raise awareness of respectful relationships with their peers.
Please contact Tough Cookies Education via email or call Kerry on 07824 885 837 to discuss. (for schools and organisations outside of Oldham, please contact for more details about our projects in your area.)
