Preparing for Compulsory SRE

Tough Cookies next open access course ‘Preparing for Compulsory SRE’ supports teachers, youth workers and other professionals working with children and young people to plan and create exciting new curriculums.

The Governments introduction of statutory Relationships Education (Primary) Sex and Relationships Education (Secondary) and Health Education (Primary and Secondary) comes in place from 2020. With schools, being encouraged to get started from September 2019.

Our course will allow us the opportunity to share practice, understanding and expertise and guide schools to create age-appropriate and spiral schemes of work.

There will be also lots of occasions to get involved and take part in SRE activities which can be used in the classroom or with wider staff teams.

Tough Cookies will also share information about the plethora of learning resource and materials available which can support SRE delivery in classrooms and communities.

Preparing for compulsory SRE will be on the 14th of June 2019, 9:30am – 3pm. There are only 15 places available. The cost per delegate is £60 Please note lunch is not provided Book online or contact Tough Cookies Education to secure your place.
